Our Mission

The Innovation Acceleration Institute's (InAI) mission is to Foster sustainable development through the collaborative use of technology, innovation, and expertise, addressing the societal and environmental challenges and promoting positive social impact worldwide.

About us

We aim to promote economic competitiveness of partner organisations in the global economy by promoting innovation. In support of this mission, InAI provides commercialisation services to small businesses empowered by exceptional innovation and sourced by international European projects. InAI puts its special effort into developing and fostering an Innovation Ecosystem. An Innovation Ecosystem is a Collaboration of businesses, research centres, educators, entrepreneurs, investors, services, government entities, associations and non-profits that are motivated to advance innovation for economic and social benefit.

InAI has a large number of successfully implemented projects in blockchain, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, development of MOOCs (massive online open courses), smart city innovations, etc. InAI attracted European and Finnish funding via different mechanisms, such as FP7, Horizon2020, Interreg, NEFCO, Cross-Border Cooperation, Nordic Council programs. Many of the projects were launched by InAI director Andrei Rybin, who worked for Finnish and foreign Universities as a Professor and project leader.

Our purpose

InAI's main objective is to develop and deploy disruptive innovations across sectors, which influence human lives and living conditions. The impact of InAI on the commercialisation of new technology is evolving from the more traditional indirect approach of lobbying governments. The new approach is to pursue private politics, in which we seek to exert direct influence over entrepreneurial companies that commercialise radical new technology.

The challenge for InAI is thinking strategically about opportunities afforded by digital disruption and taking practical steps to operationalise digital Innovations to deliver real benefits to nonprofit workers and the people they serve.
